Is Your Car Making Loud Noises?

Why is there a load noise when I turn my heater on?

This a common question, and a concern many drivers have.
First, is your noise inside the Car or in the Engine Compartment?
Many times if the noise is in the Engine Compartment, the noise could be a Faulty Serpentine Belt. This would cause a Loud Squealing Sound inside in the Engine Compartment.
The noise could be an Idler or Tensioner Pulley. This would also cause a Loud Squealing or Growling noise.
If inside the car, low Anti Freeze, Door Blend or Faulty Vacuum Lines are likely the causes. The low anti freeze would cause a Gurgling Sound, while the door blend would cause a Clicking Sound. Finally, Leaks in the Vacuum Lines would cause a Hissing Sound.
Experienced and knowledgable technicians can identify the noises in a short timeframe. These noises are a warning and should be looked at quickly to avoid more damage. Delaying service could make the money you spend greater.
