A Message from Pugh's Automotive Service Regarding the Coronavirus

Dear Customers,

No matter what you think of it, the Coronavirus is impacting not just us as individuals anymore, but our economy as well.

With the knowledge that a person can be infected by this virus yet remain asymptomatic, it is more imperative than ever that we take this virus seriously. Especially since it can be lethal to the elderly and those with serious health conditions.

With this in mind, we at Pugh’s Service Automotive want to let you know that we have you and your families covered.

We will remain open to serve you and your vehicle’s needs as long as we can, but we want you to know we have taken many steps to make sure that our employees, you, and your families are not at risk.

First, we have alerted our employees that if they or a family member is feeling symptomatic or have encountered anyone who has tested positive, they stay home. We are also disinfecting the counter and highly trafficked areas in our shop’s main showroom between customers. We have asked our employees to wear latex gloves when handling your equipment.

We are hopeful that these steps will create a safer environment for both you and our employees, however, we understand if you still are nervous about leaving your homes or workplaces. This is why we at Pugh’s Automotive Service have taken it upon ourselves to make things easier on you.

We will be offering free Pick-up and Drop-Off of your vehicle, a service we have always extended, but are now encouraging. This way you won’t have to worry about leaving your home, especially if you are practicing social distancing or are self-quarantining.

The employee responsible for picking-up and dropping off your vehicle will be required to wash or sanitize their hands before handling anything inside of your vehicle. They will also be required to wear latex gloves.

Pugh’s Automotive Service also accepts credit card payments made over the phone, once again ensuring that you do not have to add any more public stops to your agenda.

We have taken these measures to reduce the foot traffic within our own shop in order to help reduce the spread of the Coronavirus.

If you have any questions about these new protocols or would like to schedule an appointment, please contact us at (302)734-4231.

Thank you, and God Bless.
